How will the BioBlitz Run?

The BioBlitz is being run over 2 days with designated sessions when volunteers and scientific experts will be on site to answer any questions and provide access to shared equipment.

The community sessions will be held on:

  • Friday 20 November 6:00 – 7:00pm
  • Saturday 21 November 7:00-8:00am
  • Saturday 21 November 11:00-12:30pm
  • Saturday 21 November 2:00-3:30pm

During these sessions there will also be opportunities for participants to access information about:

  • local environment groups
  • learn more about local flora and fauna
  • build bee hotels from recycled materials
  • take away a plant to use in their own gardens to encourage pollinators to visit and to support local biodiversity.

Community members can participate outside of the designated sessions, but you are reminded to follow the COVID-19 requirements. Please register via Eventbrite even if you do not come during a specific session. This will enable us to have an accurate list of participants.
